Tanning for Free

My eyes lit up when Joy asked me if I wanted to go with her to the tanning salon. I've always wanted to try it out. I thought, "what the hell, I might as well try it now". So we went to the tanning salon near Harris Teeter. They have sumpthin' going on there (like a small party) and I almost got cold feet.

Joy introduced me as her friend and I was given this piece of paper to sign. I indicated that I get tanned quickly. After finishing it, I was escorted to the tanning room right away. A small room with a big tanning machine, a painting, a chair, and a ceiling fan. I could hear loud music in the background.
I was told to push the button to start and if it gets too hot, I could push it again to stop the process. Pretty simple. I was given 10 minutes.

Hmmm... Ogz mentioned sumpthin' about putting on a lotion but I wasn't given anything.

Anyhoo, I undressed, jumped in the space cocoon thingie (for a second there I got claustrophobic), wrapped my jewels with a towel, closed my eyes and pushed the button. A fan started spinning.

After 10 minoots, the machine stopped. I got out, wiped the machine (you'll sweat in there) and inspected myself. Nuthin' much has changed. I quickly dressed up and left the room. Got reunited with Joy a few minoots later.

I didn't get the service that I expected. The staff should learn how to entice potential client. I got a free tanning service alright but the quality of service should never be compromised.

Oh, bloody hell. I'll get my tan somewhere else... a beautiful beach perhaps.
