Illustration Friday: Metropolitan

Using Illustrator, I created this metropolitan scene with a hand-drawn look-and-feel to the objects. The bricks from the McDonald's roof were created one by one. I included a police car, an ambulance, and lotsa cabs--some are old and some are newly painted. A building is being constructed on the lower right block too ;o)

ohh first thing that came into mind was Lego, that i used to play with when i was a kid. hehe and those tiny cars... nice work. 8)

well done! since you have included Mcdonalds that I remember and really miss eating their breakfast meals in which by the way Jolibee have much better to offer!

This is a great approach and an inspired idea! There's something fascinating about looking down on the streets - like watching ants :). Looks like a prang about to happen on the right there...

Great depiction of 'metropolitan'! It reminds me of an architectural site plan, but with a lot more life and fun little details. :o)
