From South to North

Joyish and I met around 7:30 tonight. We then picked Betchay up who was waiting for us at Park Square 2. Betchay was very sweet to bring me some fries (I was really hungry). Last target was to meet Tamyts at Festival Mall. We took the Alabang exit but got lost along the way. We couldn't find an exit anymore so we decided to stop at the nearest gas station. My bladder was killing me and Joy was thirsty ;oP Betchay called Tamyts and requested for her to meet us up at the gas station instead. After a few minoots, she arrived with her family.

So with the whole gang complete, we continued the trip to Tagaytay. We couldn't stop laughing while exchanging stories! After more than an hour of traveling, we reached Tagaytay.

We thought of eating at Josephine's but the place was closed. It was just 9:50 pm. Bummer! We then found this place called RSM. No idea what those letters meant. Anyhoo, the place had a few late diners. We chose a table in one of their open air huts. We ordered bulalo, crisy tawilis, tinutong na laing, and buttered shrimps. While waiting for our meals, we had our pictures taken. Too bad we couldn't see the Taal view.
There's a sign near our table that says sumpthin like the place is open till midnight. The customers will pay 500 per hour of extension. WTF!

When our dinner arrived, the waiters had difficulty lighting the candle that would keep our soup warm. After some tries, they surrendered. The food was good. For some time, the four buddies got silent and just enjoyed their late dinner.

Our talk focused on some flight mishaps. Tamyts just came back from Bora. She almost didn't make it to our reunion because her PAL flight got cancelled. Force majeure was PAL's excuse. Anyhoo, good thing she got a different flight back to Manila.

After dinner, we had our final picture taking session. There was a slight scare when Joy's car wouldn't start. It could be the damn fake Motorola Razr charger she got from Glorietta. Teehee. She removed it and the car started. Whew!

On our way home, we didn't have aircon nor radio.

Before dropping Tamyts off at Festival Mall, we checked out Vivere in Alabang. Unfortunately, the place was closed already. Bummer! I remember the last time I went here with my other set of good friends. An earthquake shook the damn place. I couldn't erase the memory of the pool water swishing back and forth. Freakin' scary moment.

We left Tamyts at Seattle's Best in Festival Mall. Next is to drop off Yvette somewhere in Meycauayan, Bulacan. We took the North Luzon Expressway. We paid like 42 bucks for each toll we passed through.

Joy dropped me off at the office around 2 am. Boy, that was a long but fun trip!
